Poured asphalt screeds have been used in structural and industral engineering for decades. At moderate cost, they are easily and quickly processed. Depending on the specific application
the composition of the poured asphalt is determined by the selection of the aggregate mix, the type of bitumen and possibly other additives. In structural engineering poured asphalt
mixtures consist of 90 to 93% aggregates (filler, sand, grit or gravel) as well as 7% -10 binder.
